Necros "I.Q. 32"

Necros were from Maumee, Ohio, put together by a bunch of teenage outcasts in 1979. They would go onto record a demo in 1980 and other various unreleased recordings, and they were the first band to record for Touch and Go Records. All of their records are out of print, but be sure to track down "Conquest For Death" their LP, as well as the Conquest For Death 7" and of course the "Sex Drive" single. And if you like some Detroit rock thrown in with your hardcore, check out their later shit "Tangled Up" as well as a live record & a split 10".

The single really needs nothing said about it because it's near damn perfect, and is a good representation of what the landscape of teenage youth we were feeling at the time. Released in 1981 and produced by Ian MacKaye.

File Under ;; Barry Henssler is Ted Nugent's Godson.
