Formed in 1979 in Buffalo, NY they originally went by the name The Toys. One year later they released their 7". In the early 80's they changed their title to the New Toys along with their sound. By 1982 they were a regular part of the CBGB scene and had befriended the likes of Johnny Thunders, Cheetah Chrone and Iggy Pop. They also released their LP "Say It" that same year. By 1984 the New Toys called it quits.
