With the holidays closing in, I think i'll be turning Japanese. Fuck Thanksgiving. Fuck Christmas. And fuck the lot of 'em.
It's just another excuse for greed and commercialism. I don't need no holiday as an excuse to party like Mel Gibson. I just need the fuckin' Damned.

As I'm sure you all know, The Damned are one of the most important bands under the punk moniker and the first punk band to theoretically release a single in the UK. Of course, their album "Damned Damned Damned" is the "Stairway to Heaven" to punk. It's no wonder why the Japanese hail The Damned so much. Whether it be Rat Scabies drumming, Captain Sensible's comedy bass playing, Brian James guitar slashing, or Dave Vanian's crimson red vocals, but individually or as a group there's no doubt they are unhinged and unmanageable. Which is why we like 'em.

On this record, these Japanese motherfuckers pay tribute to Englands finest. Particularly Mosquito Spiral playing "Teenage Dream", a Damned track that they only played under the name School Bullies, plus Balzac doing "Smash it up (Part 1 & 2)".
