Notorius frontman of the English punk rock band, Sham 69 from 1976 to 1980, and from 1987 to 2006. Rumors jim had some cash outstanding with some pretty tuff loansharks, and they hadnt gotten paid back for some football bets. And it had got so deep that the band at the time feared for their lifes,,,thus the band released this statement .................. ""Sham 69 have left Jimmy Pursey on the eve of their 30th anniversary""" .....And they moved on without him . shame' shame' shame' CuZ sham69 is not sham69 without ole jim!!
The bottom line is Jimmy put out this record "IMAGINATION CAMOUFLAGE" IN 1980.A LP alot of punters panned it,But like all records over time ive grown to love this album. with songs like "freak show" which sounds like"the sensational alex harvey band " meets A johnny thunders vibe on "so alone" to make a hodge podge of reckless abandon. a truly unique album. so open your minds Tossers! or King Jim will be tracking you DowNNN !! U pillow gargling pufters !!
